There is a lot of activities in the Gili Islands and Island hopping is one of them. Island hopping is a great way to see the islands without needing to stay overnight on each them. Therefore, you can choose and allocate your time on the Gili Island most suited to you without having to miss out on seeing the other two Gilis.
An Island-Hopping boat leaves from each Island two times a day every day (weather permitting). There is a set schedule for the Island hopping boat. Please note that tickets for this boat should be purchased at the main harbor ticket office and they can only be purchased on the day that you are traveling. You can not buy these tickets in advance.

However, some days the current and the waves in-between the islands are very strong which can turn your journey into a bit of a bumpy ride.
